We are excited to announce that Kamron Mir-Gajadhar has officially joined Acuity’s London-based team for a summer work experience placement.
In September 2024, Kamron will be heading off to Nottingham University to study Finance, Accounting and Management. In the meantime, he will be supporting our UK team, working under Armin Kamara, our Head of Business Development. Kamron will be involved in various sales operations and social media projects during his time with us.
Kamron shares his aspirations: "My current career goal is to work in Mergers and Acquisitions as an Investment Banker. I find FinTech fascinating because it is a constantly evolving field with new discoveries frequently emerging in the market. What excites me most about the industry is the use of AI integration to analyse trends and patterns in day-to-day life and the optimisation of financial procedures."
He adds, "From this work experience, I hope to gain more knowledge about the world of trading, acquire new skills, and develop my current skill set. This will put me ahead of my peers when applying for internships, making me a more attractive candidate to companies. I am also hoping to make valuable connections with people so I can continue to learn from them after my work experience."
Supporting work experience placements is Acuity Trading's way of giving back to the community. By promoting education and career development, we aim to raise awareness of the financial trading and AI technology industries among students and young professionals. This can encourage more individuals to pursue careers in these fields, benefiting the industry as a whole.
