Acuity is excited to announce the latest addition to our Data Science team, Fernando Guirao.
Fernando will join us as part of our internship program with the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). Embarking on his final year of a Computer Science degree in September 2024, he’ll be lending our Spanish office his talents for the next three months.
Fernando's main focus during his internship will be developing innovative software aimed at detecting price patterns. This initiative aligns with Acuity's ongoing commitment to harness cutting-edge technology to enable high-level financial analysis.
Fernando brings a solid academic background from the Facultat d'Informàtica de Barcelona (FIB) at UPC - we think the unique perspective and skillset he established during a previous internship at the prominent Cuatrecasas legal firm will make him invaluable to our team.
A well-rounded individual interested in sports, exploration, film and literature, he cherishes time spent with family and friends. Fernando's admiration for his mother's creativity and positive attitude speaks volumes about his own character and outlook on life.
