We are delighted to announce the latest addition to our team, Andrius Visnevskis, who recently joined Acuity Trading as a Technical Support Executive. Based in Acuity's Barcelona team, Andrius brings unique expertise from his diverse background and extensive industry experience involving science, strategy and relationship building.
Originally from Lithuania, Andrius is fluent in Lithuanian, English, and Russian. His academic journey took him to the University of Essex in the UK, where he earned both an MSc in Biotechnology (Distinction) and a BSc in Biomedical Science. Throughout his studies, Andrius demonstrated a strong interest in biotechnology, contributing to research projects for major companies like BP and gaining valuable experience in gene technology, synthetic biology, and industrial biotechnology.
For the past five years, Andrius has worked within the gas detection industry, focusing on technical customer success and onboarding. His role involved managing European customer accounts, supporting long-term contracts, and resolving technical issues. Most recently, he served as Customer Success Manager at Industrial Scientific, where he handled a portfolio of high-value contracts and coordinated post-sales relationships with customers across Europe.
Andrius' technical proficiency extends to platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, JIRA, and Power BI, skills that will enhance Acuity's ability to deliver top-tier technical support to our growing client base. His experience working remotely from the UK will also be a great asset as he transitions into his new role from Spain.
