Financial services firms can now apply formatting to the Disclaimer and Temporary Access text fields within the Research Terminal. This update enables the use of standard HTML tags, including bold, italic, line breaks, and hyperlinks, giving compliance and product teams greater control over how important notices are presented to traders and investors.

What's New
The Disclaimer screen and Temporary Access popup both now render formatted text. Firms can configure these fields to include:
- Bold or italic emphasis to highlight key legal obligations or conditions
- Hyperlinks to direct traders to relevant legal documents, terms of service, or external resources
- Line breaks to improve the structure and readability of longer notices
All text areas within these components are covered, including the button label, popup title, body paragraphs, and the call-to-action button in the Temporary Access flow.
Why It Matters
Disclaimers and access notices serve a critical compliance function, but their impact depends on how clearly the message lands with the end user. Plain text has limits: lengthy legal copy presented as a single unbroken paragraph is easy to overlook.
For traders, better-formatted notices mean the terms and conditions they are agreeing to are easier to read and understand before they proceed. For investors accessing features on a temporary or trial basis, clearer guidance reduces friction and sets clearer expectations.
For firms, this change reduces the effort required to meet communication standards across different regions or client segments. Compliance, legal, and product teams can now configure notices that are both accurate and visually effective, without relying on a code change for each update.
